With a sharp eye for flow, a sixth sense for vendor vibes, and years of experience producing polished, people-first events, she’s the one making sure the curtain rises without a wrinkle.
As Principal Experience & Relationship Curator, MaryAnn brings warmth, wit, and just the right amount of sparkle to the business of connection. Whether she’s elevating vendor experiences, orchestrating show-day magic, or nurturing a community that feels more like family, she leads with grace, grit, and an open inbox.

Part storyteller, part strategist, and part connector-in-chief, Angela Reiter is the voice behind the vision at Down the Aisle Carolina. With 20+ years of award-winning experience in branding and marketing (and a Rolodex that would make a PR rep swoon), she’s the mastermind weaving together vendor victories, love stories, and the magic that happens when community meets creativity.
As Chief Narrative & Partnership Officer, Angela doesn’t just write the playbook—she builds the team to bring it to life. From launching bold campaigns that fill event halls and inboxes, to forging savvy alliances with local movers, shakers, and social tastemakers, she’s on a mission to make “local” louder, smarter, and more connected.
Angela believes that the best marketing doesn’t just sell—it sings. And when it comes to giving wedding vendors a stage? She’ll make sure the spotlight hits just right.


Topper
Master of Ceremonies
Topper wasn’t always a local legend. Once just a sharp-looking songbird in the Carolina pines, he grew tired of watching talented local wedding pros struggle to be seen—buried in directories, lost in expos, and overlooked by the very couples who needed them most.
So, he took matters into his own wings.
Topper traded his nest for networking, polished his feathers, perched himself atop the region’s most creative businesses, and declared: “This is no longer business as usual. It’s business as exceptional.”
He connected with two powerhouse women who formed Down the Aisle Carolina—a stylishly curated collective built for connection over competition, community over cliques, and creativity over cookie-cutter.
Now, Topper’s mission is simple: Bring the right vendors together, and help couples discover local magic they didn’t know they were looking for.
And...do it all with a wink, a wingtip, and a whole lot of style.
